The breakfast is super delicious and definitely out of our expectation. The indoor and outdoor space (especially the roof) is quite chill. Overall environment is cozy and homey. The owner lend us the bikes to explore the town and drove us to the bus station when we left.

It stays very close to the beach and inside a very friendly village. Staff are super friendly and the dinner party is so great to meet people and try food around.

Set in Motobu, 2.1 km from Emerald Beach, Mambo Hostel Okinawa offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. This Hostel was amazing. The design was very welcoming and nature focused which is something that I love. Because of its location you have nature all around you and the atmosphere is very peaceful, me and my friends would spend hours relaxing in a hammock listening to the sounds of birds and crickets. During my stay while my friends chose to stay in the shared rooms, which were also really beautiful and clean, I chose a private room which was to my surprise enormous with a private balcony that takes half of the whole second floor, totally worth it! The location is also 20 minutes walking distance from the Okinawa aquarium which is a nice plus, there’s also a beach next to it but we couldn’t go swimming because swimming season starts in April. The staff was exceptional, no doubts about it. She event prepared us dinner and answered any questions we had very openly and with a smile. To be honest we were kind of sad to say goodbye because although we only stayed for two nights it felt a little bit like home. I’m hopping I could visit again.

A small guesthouse with a homey vibe and a lot of love for details. Every morning we got a great breakfast set served on the terrace in a beautiful green garden. The room was quiet, clean, spacious with 2 beds, a small table, 2 comfy chairs and a hanger for clothes. They offer daily roomservice. Kenny and Komaki are very friendly and helpful hosts and gave us great recommendations. It is located near cape maeda. There is a brilliant plant-based restaurant in 3 min walking distance, an Italian place and another café. In about 7min walking distance is the cape for snorkeling or diving and 4 small beautiful beaches.

Ideally situated in the Naha City Centre district of Naha, The Kitchen Hostel Ao is situated 4.7 km from Tamaudun Mausoleum, 20 km from Nakagusuku Castle and 22 km from Sefa Utaki. If all the hostels in the world were like this one, world travel would be much easier, lighter, and more efficient. You can find almost everything you can reasonably expect for your Naha travel here. Even though the dormitory was fully occupied during the weekend of my stay, showers and bathrooms got never crowded or messy.

Ideally set in the Naha City Centre district of Naha, Santiago Guesthouse Naha is situated 5.2 km from Tamaudun Mausoleum, 21 km from Nakagusuku Castle and 22 km from Sefa Utaki. Perfect ! No need to describe ! The team who were so helpful when I injured my foot. Special mention to Tomoki who was great at organizing my stay.

Situated in Ishigaki Island, 1.3 km from Painuhama Artificial Beach, HOSTEL SunTerrace Ishigaki features accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking and a terrace. This is the perfect place to stay if you need/want to stay in Ishigaki city while on the island. It’s clean, ist bright, the people are friendly and it’s over all a nice vibe. The staff is super helpful and the public areas are also super cool. The location is also good. You are close to the downtown area and the ferry to the other islands. There are restaurants and everything arround.
